Welcome to the 20s & 30s Section, an outdoors club of the Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club! Our club provides a great opportunity for active adults in their 20s and 30s to meet and participate in fun outdoor and social activities throughout Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties.

The club holds regular hikes and other get-togethers for newcomers, but newcomers are welcome to attend any of our events! Take some time to look at our monthly calendar for an idea of our upcoming events. A sampling of events from the past include a wine-and-cheese hike outside of Westlake Village, car-camping in Death Valley, a trip to Costa Rica, white-water rafting on the Kern River, kayaking in Morro Bay, sailing cruises to the Channel Islands, and hiking through the Antelope Valley to see the wildflowers in bloom.

Our section is also committed to protecting the special places we hike in. Our new conservation effort seeks to protect threatened areas in the local mountains through fun, easy actions we can take, such as writing letters to key decision-makers while we are hiking. Just click here to learn how easy and accessible conservation can be whether you are a leader, a newcomer or a regular participant.

Membership in the Section is free, and only requires a few minutes of your time to complete our online registration form. By registering, we will get a better idea of the demographics of our members, enabling us to plan events tailored to our members' interests. You also have the option to request email updates, which will inform you of upcoming events. In addition, you will be able to post your own events. If you have any other questions, visit the FAQs page. We hope to see you at an outing soon!
